A strong plastics treaty

Ahead of the international negotiations of a plastics treaty, we created a website to get organisations to make an international call for a meaningful treaty...

That means setting a target for drastic reductions in plastic production. This is the only way we can stop the crisis at source.

Despite high hopes, talks stalled. The fifth and supposedly final round of negotiations came to an impasse in November 2024.

Now we await August 2025, when a new round (INC 5.2) will begin in Geneva, Switzerland.
